After effects nulls have no track data?

Hi there-
Trying to learn a bit about Mocha Pro during my 14 day trial. I create a mesh using power mesh, and when I save the project and the track and go back into AE, I click “Generate Nulls” under the powermesh tab in the Effects tab.

the nulls are generated but none of them have any motion with their position?

Any advice?
