Aligning nulls from 3D Camera Solve with Surface

Apologies if I’m missing something obvious here.
I have successfully managed to import my PTZ 3D Camera Data to After Effects. However, although the 5 nulls are placed correctly, their rotation values are not aligned to the tracked plane that they all sit on. Their rotation / orientation values are all at zero. So if I were to scale one up, it would never intersect the other 4 nulls. This seems slightly crazy to me as I now have no way of actually using them! Ideally need a single solid in the centre, the four corners of which touch the four corners of the tracked surface.
Is there a way of doing this?

Actually, no I’m wrong. The nulls are aligned in the same plane, it’s just that the Solve is completely wrong, it has decided that the surface is not rectangular when really it should be. I have no idea how to resolve this though.

Yes, I think I see what you mean - if one was tracking a slightly curved surface like a face, each null would not be oriented separately. A null on, say, an actor’s temple would be parallel with one on his lower jaw, when in reality those two areas are not co-planar (unless his head is a cuboid!). That’s fine - I wasn’t expecting that. But I was expecting the 4 points of the ‘surface’ in Mocha to result in more of a rectangle (when viewed from their front) than they actually are in my solve. I think someone needs to take a look at my project files to help me more. I’m glad if I can help, and even more glad if I can learn something and get the help I need!

v3 is the current release. What I should have said is that teh camera solver does not solve the Null rotation orientation for each mocha surface corner, only the relative position.

We will take a look shortly. We appreciate your feedback as the solver is a new feature and we are interested to see how different customers are attempting to use it.
