First off, this not supporting wifi bug is pretty ridiculous. That needs fixing pronto; for anyone with a laptop that doesn’t have an ethernet port they’re basically out of luck, which makes the app manager basically broken for a growing fraction of the user base.
Second, it should be able to identify what licenses the logged in user has available, and which ones are activated currently even on other machines, since they’re for the same account. That should enable a user to open up the app manager if they’re not crippled by the silly wifi bug and detect valid licenses, and identify which machine(s) those license are active on.
It should also be able to activate a valid license that’s not active elsewhere without an activation code, and offer the option of deactivating the license on another machine to make a license available.
