I have a shot, actually a long pan of a landscape (horizontal rotation) with a wide-lens that has distortion on the sides (10mm lens).
Now the sky has to be replaced with nice stars.
The speed of the objects left and right is “quicker” than those in the middle because of the distortion.
I tried several things but I cannot achieve a good result.
(Ray tracing in AE is awful slow, I tried all sorts of lens distortion plugins as well as mochas lens and camera solve)
Anybody with an idea how to get this solved?

Yes, there should be, but I am travelling right at the moment and not sure what internet will look like at IBC. You can email me for our ftp info.
You’ll need to solve for the lens and track it in parts, and separate out layers in parts to achieve the proper parallax. Without seeing the shot, its difficult to know exactly what the issue is.
I will send you an email with an attached small video (h264, low quality)
Many thanks for your help! (Sorry that it’s during IBC)
Thanks for your reply.
Is there a way to upload a bit of the shot?
That would be the best to discuss the problem I have.
