I have a shot, actually a long pan of a landscape (horizontal rotation) with a wide-lens that has distortion on the sides (10mm lens).
Now the sky has to be replaced with nice stars.
The speed of the objects left and right is “quicker” than those in the middle because of the distortion.
I tried several things but I cannot achieve a good result.
(Ray tracing in AE is awful slow, I tried all sorts of lens distortion plugins as well as mochas lens and camera solve)
Anybody with an idea how to get this solved?
Thanks.

You’ll need to solve for the lens and track it in parts, and separate out layers in parts to achieve the proper parallax. Without seeing the shot, its difficult to know exactly what the issue is.
