Help using particle illusion with element 3d

to make things super simple and easy I will create an imaginary scene so that you guys can get a good understanding of what am trying to archive.

1: new comp
2: 1 solid added
3: add element 3d and put an airplane to the scene.
4: back to the main AE, solid, effects of element 3d
5: utilities / generate 3d position and added point to airplane turbines.

6: new solid / particular illusion.
now how do i attach P,I to the 3d null am stuck

That feature is not in PI 2021. Not sure that there’s a good workaround…

so particul issusion is 2d only.
cannot work with camera or 3d nulls.
such a great software or plugin but one main feature is missed out what a loss.
or maybe you said that feature is not in 2021 than what is it on.

ok i used 3d camera and the 3d particul ission flame smoke rotates in 3d also.
am stuck with sticking it to my 3d null object so it follows it.

watch the video i made so u can see

Your video won’t play for me. Can anybody help?

can some one please help reply.
i can pre comp the element 3d layer and apply particul illusion and use mocha it works ok but looking for a better way.

Does this video help? (Should start at 37:36)

A better way is probably X-Particles in Cinema 4D rather than Element 3D.
