I can't seem to manual track

I’m having problems performing a manual track. I believe I understand how to do it but I keep running into an infinite loop of “Unable to get surface position in front of camera” messages.
Here is a screen capture video (https://pantherfile.uwm.edu/wescott/public/MochaBug2.mov) of what I was doing. I basically just need to manual track the few frames where the hat logo is partially obscured by microphone. However, no many how careful I am at adjusting the surface corners after a few frames I always get that error message and then I have to kill Mocha and restart. It’s only like 10 frames and hardly moves… I don’t understand how I keep breaking the manual track.

What happens if you delete the problem frame? Does it come back? This is similar to the problem going on with the remove issue you posted. It may have to do with the tiny size of the surface.
Are you able to send a clip of the frame range to us for testing?
You can reach me directly at martinb[at]imagineersystems.com

Ok, so the error keeps returning regardless of what you try to do next?

Right… The message box just keeps popping up over and over so I have no ability to correct anything. Also, I’ll email you a link to the clip I’m working with.

What do you mean by delete the problem frame? When this happens I can’t do anything and am forced to “force quit” Mocha and restart. I guess I should attempt to do one frame at a time and save between so I can resume if this happens…Just not exactly ideal.
