Noticing some really odd falloff occuring when we are upping the softness of transitions (i.e, Linear Wipe), the falloff is not gradual … like at all.
Can you please provide more details. What host and OS? Is this only in linear workspaces? Can you provide a sample preset to ensure we’re looking at the same scenario?

And here is probably a better example. Both transitions are set at 50%, with a softness value of 50. The BCC version has some really whacky falloff occurring
This only seems to occur in Linear working space.
