I have found some tuts on mocha which I am looking into trying out, but I haven’t found any tuts for exporting mocha to after effects except for people that are trying to sell plug ins. I was curious if anyone could point me into a direction that I can expand my mocha knowledge. I found some mocha tuts on sites but when I try to view them they are taken down or cover something I have watched. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
I was hoping to find some tutorials that get mocha data into After Effects. I will for sure comb through some of those videos and learn more! Thanks
I assume you’ve already looked here: Boris FX | Videos
In our video section, we have quite a few videos on mocha to ae, but you may have already seen all of them. We recommend watching the Matthias Mohl videos for in depth mocha and ae usage.
Also, we have training videos for sale here: http://webshop.imagineersystems.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=224
These videos mostly focus on how to use mocha but do take trips to outside programs like AE and Nuke.
If you’re specifically looking for how to use corner pinning, mattes, splines, and tracking data in After Effects, it might be best to apply techniques you find on Adobe TV on corner pinning and using mattes and splines to our technology. You can find those videos here: http://tv.adobe.com/
Or you can visit a fan blog here to see how our customers are using mocha with real world applications: http://www.mochapromagic.com/
If you don’t already, you should follow us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/ImagineerSystems to see new videos and content. We also have a blog: http://blog.imagineersystems.com/ and a twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/Imagineersys
These might be your best bet then:
