Mocha AE plugin not working

First time trying Mocha AE in its new form as a plugin for After Effects. When I press the launch button to start things up, I only get an empty black screen. I’ve tried different format videos but always with the same result: an empty black screen. Here it is with a TIFF file, which should and did open just fine before.

Windows 10
Dell XPS 8930
Intel i7 8700
NVIDEA 1050ti
all drivers up-to-date

Can you try to disable the GPU acceleration to see if that fixes?
Launch Mocha AE and go to File>Prefs> GPU and turn off GPU processing. Save and exit, then try Mocha AE again.
