Mocha Paste bug when using interlaced ftg

I am going through a tutorial by Curious Turtle (Mocha Real World) and have bumped into a bug that they document in the video. The problem affects the pasting of mocha shape data when working with interlaced footage. The shape that is pasted is half the size it should be vertically and is slightly displaced up.
See attached images.
I am aware of the work around but since this has been documented for quite a while, I d like to know when it will be fixed? And how do CS6 owners incorporate that fix into Mocha for AE?

Never mind. I found an old thread in the COW which made me aware that in AE I could use the Effect/Matter/Mocha shape effect which I then paste the data int which works great!

Thank you Martin for the info update.

Hi Martin:
Using the shape effects seems quicker and easier then changing the text file. Unless there is some downside to using the shape effect. Is there? They did demonstrate that technique in the Curious Turtle “Real World” dvd.

Hi Tom,
That correct. There used to be a bug with the shape effect data for interlaced that was fixed, but this current problem is only to do with AE spline masks specifically, which will be addressed in a later release.

Hi Tom,

A quick workaround to this issue is to paste the data into a plain text editor, change the height value to the correct height (For example, change 540 to 1080) and then copy the text inside the text editor.

This should then paste the spline data correctly without having to use the shape effect.

The upside to using the shape effect is you can use the per-point feathering from mocha, but the downside is you cannot tweak the points in AE like you would be able to do with a spline mask.
