Mocha Pro License Control crashes Avid

I needed to remove my Mocha Pro AVX license from my laptop to move to my mac mini. I can’t. When in the Effect Editor in Media Composer, clicking on the License Control button crashes Avid. I’ve tried with several different projects. If I can’t de-license one system, I can’t license the other. Tech support was able to reset this license (the web site didn’t reset the license when I tried that). I can’t tell if this is because of the Avid beta, the M1, or Mocha.

Someone in support should be able to get you sorted out.

Thanks Mary. I am sorted out as of now. But this is maybe a fixable bug?

I will let @martinb know.

Hi Harry,

The quickest workaround for the time being is to license inside the Mocha GUI itself, or better yet, use the App Manager:

This is the preferred method as it independently handles all your licenses from one place.

Great. Thank you. I never remember to use the app manager. Now is the time to start.
