Mocha Pro v4.0.0 setup python

Bit confused on the documentation

I have Mocha Pro 4.0.0 installed on a Windows 7 64bit machine. According to the docs, it should have installed the python portion here:

C:\Program Files\mocha Pro V4.1.0\python\python.exe.

Instead it has installed it here instead:

C:\Program Files\Imagineer Systems Ltd\mocha Pro V4\python

This may or may not matter. However, the docs talk about a mocha.project … is that suppose to be installed on the system? If so, where can I find it? Finally, where should I install custom .py files? Can they be placed in the home documents folder? The docs are very sparse on information. Thanks in advance.

The docs are talking about a mocha.project module.

The installation location does not matter. You’ll be running Python from either the installation path or from inside mocha.

mocha.project is the module inside the mocha Python API. When running the mocha Python instance you just import it in the standard way.

For custom python scripts, look over the section called “Initialization Functions”. Everything is loaded via an script.

There is an incorrect path for Windows for the placement of scripts. Look here instead: C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\Imagineer Systems Ltd\Scripts\

If you have any Python-based questions, let me know.
