Newbie here - Created precomp with tracked video footage which disappears when viewing the composition when nested inside of another

Title says it all - was following a tutorial on advanced tracking, and tracked my screen to an ipad. Got everything flying straight within the composition, but when I nested it within another, all tracking and the screen I had changed disappear. When I go back inside of the composition, my changes are all still there.

what am I doing wrong?

Honestly, I’m having a really hard time visualizing what the problem could be. Can you please send me some full screen screenshots to Mary p at BorisFX.com and I will take a look and see if we can figure out what’s going on there.
