Offsetting a pixel with clone/patch


I would like to know how to clone/patch and area that takes the offset pixels frame by frame.
So if the lightning changes it will work over time.

Are you talking about cloning from a single frame clean plate or cloning from the current frame in the sequence as it progresses?

Cloning from the current frame as it progresses. (all frames)
Is that possible with a patch or something and do like auto paint?

Using a clone offset with Relative enabled in conjunction with Auto Paint will do what you want.

You could also do something like this just in the node graph to do live offset patches.

Just make sure you have ‘obey matte’ ticked so the transform node is only applied through your roto.
