Openspline in mocha

#1

I want to know the following stuffs,

Can i give feather to my open splines ?

can i export to nuke and use the same as open spline ?

If not please let me know any other alternative solutions. I want to use mocha to work on fine hair details and take the same to nuke …

Hi there,

You can export open splines to nuke, but you can’t stroke them in mocha. You will need to add a stroke to them in nuke.

Does that answer your question? Please let me know if you have any more questions and I will be happy to help.

Cheers,
Mary

I know this is an old post, but it seems like openspline does not work from Mocha to nuke. I have tried all the export options and it just creates a closed spline.

User error or is there something that i am missing?

If this is not supported can this be added please?

We have limited open spline export for Nuke. Have you tried using the paint node export? Or spline warp?

yes i have tried all export options and none yield a stroked paint stroke or an openspline.

OK, I think this is an export limitation, we are looking into it.
