Optimize rendering Premiere Pro 2022 iMac (2022)

Is there recommended optimization to increase render of previews in Premiere Pro?

Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020
3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9
128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB

Simple screen tracking/insert (4 second clip) can sometimes take 15-25 minutes. 4k footage in HD sequence.

Also will become unrendered for no apparent reason. (just duplicating a sequence)

My experience using Mocha standalone doesn’t seem to have that kind of issue.

Are you using proxies in Premiere in the viewer? That might help.

I am not using proxies as most of the time I don’t need to (Arri ProRes UHD).

I will try that out though, thanks.

Also fighting Premiere “unrendering” when I haven’t touched that area of the sequence. Good times.
