Overlapping roto spline subtracting instead of adding


I’ve created a single roto layer that contains 2 overlapping splines.

The issue I’m having is that one is subtracting for the other where they overlap, creating a hole.

Is there a way to change to an ‘add’ mode? (like with After Effects masks)

I’ve also tried separating the splines into separate layers, and they still subtract.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

What version of monet are you using? I just did a test and when I have 2 layers that overlap and render, the default is “add”.
