PI Looses UI Elements in Win 10

After using Particle Illusion 2022 Stand Alone for a short while it will blank out big parts of the UI. For example the Presets will become invisible or the Particle Properties will disappear even though the Tooltips for the properties will still pop up. HP Omen laptop with Win 10 and the latest Nvidia display driver. The only way I’ve discovered to retrieve is to close and reopen the program. Any ideas?

Resizing any of the views or using the Ctrl+1 Ctrl+2 etc. layouts doesn’t fix it?

Correct, None of those options fixes it.

I’m having the same exact problem. But I’m thinking it’s because I am currently using an older graphics card. AMD Radeon R9 200 Series. I’m hoping when I get a new card like a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 it will solve that problem.
What graphics card are you using?

A couple of things to try:

  1. Does changing Windows display scaling have any effect? For instance, we have a beta tester who sees some specific number characters that don’t display (for instance, “5” never displays), but only when display scaling is set to 100%. At other values the “5” displays fine.

  2. Does Task Manager indicate any low resources or any other issues? Is a very large percentage of RAM being used?

Thanks!
