Something that could be easily added and people here have been swearing by as a “magic bullet” when all else fails for dark / featureless shots, (what people shoot those ?).
Using OFX plugin people have been inserting a “bandpass” node before the OFX plugin and then letting Mocha track that, (here people use a Nukepedia downloadable Pixel Fudger gizmo called “pxf_bandpass”.
Does indeed greatly improve results in edge cases - let me know if you wnat me to send you a sample script.
