Problem with the surface and grid while tracking

I are trying to track a 25 seconds long stun stick fight with multiply angels. I have track the stick itself by hand, frame by frame. And now I was going to turn on the surface but it dosen’t show up at all, not even the grid show up.
I might add that I have created a seperated layer for every angle and I have not turned on the surface while I tracked the stick. And I tried to actualy import the layers back into AE into seperate Null objects, which didn’t work either.

Manual can only be done correctly with the surface turned on, as you need to see where the surface is.
You may be confusing tracking with animating the spline. The spline does not affect the surface when tracking, as it is linked to the tracking data, not the other way around.
