I am getting a large red x over my video whenever I apply a BCC effect on a clip. Using the free version of Continuum. Mac OS, Monterey 12.3.1, Final Cut Pro. Anyone have a solution?

The only solution is to purchase a license for Continuum. Unlicensed filters will watermark, as intended.

Yep, there’s a very simple solution - for all filters apart from the free BCC+ Looks (which does not watermark) you need to purchase a license for the product, then once you activate that license on your system the red X watermark will disappear.
Even I am finding a large X and I have paid for a license. After the first time this happened, I uninstalled then reinstalled, same thing. How do I get these to work?
I would suggest logging into your borisfx account on the borisfx.com website and resetting your license to see if that helps.

doesn’t it work with Motion?
I have a genuine license but still I get the Red Cross on the frame I reset the license on my account but nothing is happening please advice
