Small mocha shapes pasted to solids become pixelated

Having an issue with some of the same aforementioned fish shapes from mocha that sort of swim off into the background (which has the shapes shrink) becoming pixelated even at full resolution previewing and are still pixelated after being rendered.

Comp size/solid size doesn’t seem to affect this and I don’t really see any documentation of this anywhere, so wondering if anyone else is familiar with this issue.

As an aside, this has happened to me with tracked and untracked shapes before, so I don’t think that has anything to do with it.

Are you using AE masks for the shapes, or mocha masks?

Can you try using “Paste mocha mask” instead and see if you get a similar problem?
