Unsmooth Matte Edge Width

Hi,
If I either copy my shape data into AE or render the shape out, the edge width is not as a consistent gradient in AE as it is in mocha.
Example:
Mocha:

AE:

Alpha in AE:

I have my project set to 16bit. Changing to 32bit doesn’t make a difference.
Anyone have any idea why this is?
Thanks!

So i’m pretty sure that this is just how mocha produces it’s edge widths:

I’m actually throughly disappointed and surprised that a professional roto software can’t handle a linear feather gradient properly.
Is this a bug??

Hi yes I will upload the project file tonight. Sorry for the delay.
Do you need the footage as well?

Yes, that would help to accurately view your particular situation.

Hi digiman,
Can you send me the file to take a look at?
