I am using Mocha AE v7.5.0 on a Windows 10 Machine, i7 Intel CPU with 332 GB ram and Nvidia 2080 Super GPU.
I have two problems:
- In order to view the X-spline in a layer, I have to exit Mocha and relaunch.
- It is not possible to edit or make adjustments to the X-Spline.
Question: Do I need Mocha Pro to do actual rotoscoping?
Do you have overlays turned on? It sounds like they have gotten turned off and then restarting turns them back on for you. It’s the icon that looks like a screen in the toolbar.
It is very possible to make adjustments to the x-spline, and yes, Mocha Pro is very helpful for Rotoscoping. You might find our getting started videos very helpful? https://borisfx.com/videos/?tags=&search=getting%20started
Pardon the belated reply. I was able to figure out this issue but another one arose. When I create a matte, Mocha AE randomly inverts in After Effects. Do I need to upgrade to Mocha Pro to resolve this error?
Are you applying the matte via the Mocha plugin OR are you creating the shape data? And when you say inverting, is the invert matte option checked in the plugin interface OR is AE automatically assigning the Subtract value to the native AE mask imported from Mocha? I need more information to help you solve this issue.
